The prayer is a heartfelt plea to Saint Gerard, asking for his care and protection during childbirth. Asking for protection from danger and pain during childbirth, as well as for the well-being of the unborn child. May I have a smooth pregnancy without fear or troubles. I ask O Lord, that my child be Healthy and see many years on this earth.
